The ups and downs of abstract writing!
It feels like I can’t write properly. Never could. Never will. And then it strikes me: the perfect way to convey this idea! Scratch that! It’s crap! How about this? Nahhhhh, that’s worse! What if I put this sentence before that one? Better, right? Hey, did I save this previous version where I had this nice imagery? So, how did it go again? What is the author saying again? How can I possibly have come to this conclusion?!?! It doesn’t even make sense! Should I be writing this in French? No, definitely English! Oh, but I can’t write in English!
Nevermind. I give up (for now). I’ll go eat grilled chicken and walk in the snow. And then drink tea by the kitchen window.
